IN-PERSON SERVICES

This is what PT looks like when it's actually built for you.

One-on-one care, a real plan, and a PT who stays in your corner until you meet all your goals.

OUR SPECIALTIES

ORTHOPEDIC REHAB

PELVIC FLOOR THERAPY

DANCE MEDICINE

HIP IMPINGEMENT

DRY NEEDLING

Healing isn't random, and neither is our approach

Every client moves through the same four phases. How far you go, and how long you spend in each one, depends on the program you choose — but the framework itself never changes.

YOUR NEXT STEPS

STEP 1. BOOK A FREE DISCOVERY CALL

We want you to feel 100% confident in your decision to work with us, thats why we start with a free 15 minute discovery call. This is your chance to talk with one of our PT's about your biggest problems, how it's been impacting your life, and all your goals. We'll give you our honest opinion of if we can help and how.

STEP 2. COMPLETE AN EVALUATION AND CHOOSE THE PROGRAM THAT FITS BEST

Your first visit includes a thorough assessment of your strength, mobility and movement patterns. From there, we will identify the root cause of your symptoms and recommend the appropriate plan of care for you. Unlike traditional physical therapy where you book session after session with no clear end in sight, we will build you a custom roadmap to get you results—whether that’s recovering from an injury, enhancing performance, or building long-term resilience

STEP 3. DOWNLOAD OUR APP & GET TO WORK!

Your time with us is more than just the hour you are in the clinic each week. Our programs are built for ongoing support, accountability, and guidance every step of the way. All your exercises will be programed inside our app to help take the guesswork out of your rehab and keep you on track until you meet every goal.

OUT OF NETWORK CARE

You're in the drivers seat. Not your insurance company.

Being out-of-network is a deliberate choice for us. It lets us deliver the kind of care insurance does not pay for: meaning a full hour, one-on-one, with your PT every single visit, plus support between your sessions.

HSA and FSA funds accepted

Superbills provided if your plan reimburses out-of-network

Cash, check, or credit accepted

Virginia is a direct access state, so no physician referral is required

FAQ's

What makes OPW different?

Most PT clinics sell you a number of visits. We don't. Our care is built around time and progress, not visit counts. When you work with us, you commit to a full plan, to give you enough time to actually change how your body moves, feels, and performs. You're not stuck counting down visits or wondering what happens when they run out.

Every plan follows our CORE Method, a four-phase path from pain to performance:

Calm & Understand: Settle the irritation and finally understand what's driving your pain.

Optimize Movement: Fix the patterns that keep flaring things up.

Rebuild Strength: Load your hip so it can handle real life again.

Elevate Performance: Get back to the running, lifting, dancing, or training you love, with confidence.

You'll always know which phase you're in and what comes next. No guessing.Your care doesn't stop when your session ends. We stay connected between visits, so you're never left alone with a question, a flare-up, or a "wait, am I doing this right?" moment.

Every session is one-on-one with your therapist. No cookie-cutter programs. No heat packs or e-stim filling your time. Just focused, hands-on work you can't do at home.

What type of injuries do you treat?

Our main specializations are dance medicine, hip injuries and external pelvic floor therapy, however we treat a variety of orthopedic conditions. Our mission is to get active individuals back to doing everything they love, so if you are looking for a therapist to help you meet your high level goals OPW is for you!

Don't have a current injury?? We can still help! Wellness visits and movement coaching is the perfect way to lower risk of future injuries and make improvements to your overall health.

Do I need a prescription from my doctor?

No! Virginia is a direct access state, meaning that you are able to see a Physical Therapist for any length of time WITHOUT a doctors prescription. This eliminates all that extra time spent waiting to see a doctor so you can start feeling better faster!

Do you accept any insurance?

On Pointe Wellness is a cash based (or "out-of-network") therapy practice, so no insurance is accepted. Don't let this idea scare you off just yet and take a moment to learn why we believe this is the best option for you!

By eliminating insurance companies from the equation we are able to focus on high quality, personalized therapy. It allows you to receive full 60 minute one-on-one sessions. No more aides or treating multiple patients at a time, the focus is always on YOU. Working out of network allows more freedom to treat your problems the way they should be treated, without the constraints of the insurance company. Unfortunately, insurance companies do not put your needs first, but Jenna always will.

It's also important that you know your insurance company MAY COVER out of network Physical therapy. If this is the case, we will provide you with a super-bill after your sessions to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We also accept HSA/FSA funds.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?

Your investment depends on your goals and the plan that fits you best. That's why we don't list one-size-fits-all pricing. Instead, start with a free Discovery Call. We'll talk through what's going on with your hip, what you want to get back to, and which plan makes sense for you. You'll get clear pricing before you commit to anything. No pressure, no surprises.

Payment options

We accept cash, check, credit cards, and FSA/HSA cards.

If your insurance plan reimburses for out-of-network Physical Therapy, we can provide you with a superbill to submit. Reimbursement is NOT guaranteed.

When you book, we'll ask you to keep a card on file. We use it to pay for your care, and it's charged if you miss an appointment without notice. We'll always let you know before we charge it.

What does a typical session look like?

Your first visit: the Initial Evaluation

This is where we get to know you and figure out what's really going on. We'll talk through your history, your symptoms, what you're active in, and what you want to get back to. Then we'll look at how you move. We test your strength, range of motion, and the movements that matter most to you, so we can pinpoint what's driving your hip pain. You'll leave with answers, a clear plan, and your first "homework," so you can start making progress right away.

Every session after that

Each session is built around where you are in your CORE Method plan. Early sessions focus on calming things down and understanding your body. Later ones shift to rebuilding strength and getting you back to full performance.

Most sessions include:

Hands-on treatment, like soft tissue work and joint mobilization

Targeted exercise to address your specific limitations

Education, so you understand your hip and know how to manage it for the long haul

Sessions last about an hour, one-on-one with your therapist, with their full attention.

Your part

You'll get a full an easy to follow custom program to follow between visits. This is where the real change happens. Physical therapy works when you do the work, and we'll be in your corner the whole way.

Do you accept Medicare?

Because we are on out-of-network clinic, we cannot accept cash payments from any Medicare patients for Physical Therapy (dumb rule, we know). If you have Medicare and are in need of Physical Therapy, we would be happy to help you find another clinic to meet your needs or offer you our wellness services.

What happens when I am done with therapy?

Getting you out of pain is only part of the goal. We want you strong, confident, and able to handle whatever comes next. That's why we start planning for the long term at your very first visit. It's also why we never truly "discharge" you. Whether it's a flare-up, a question, or you're ready for new exercises, our door is always open.

Keep building with a membership--

Once you've met your rehab goals, we'll help you choose the best way to keep your progress moving:

Elevate Membership: One one-on-one session a month plus four weeks of custom programming, so you keep progressing with your therapist in your corner.

App-based memberships: Structured programming in our app, plus live group coaching calls for accountability and support. We have options for both hip clients and dancers.

Not sure which fits? Your PT will walk you through the options as you near the end of your plan, so you'll know exactly what's next before you finish.

The work doesn't stop when therapy ends. This is where it pays off.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists' day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice will be charged for the FULL visit amount.

What if I am not local? Do you offer Telehealth?

Yes! We offer telehealth services for Physical Therapy for anyone in the state of Virginia, DC, NC, NY or TX.

We also offer virtual movement coaching and online programs available to anyone worldwide.

What is Dance Medicine?

In addition to regular Physical Therapy, On Pointe Wellness also specializes in Dance Medicine. It is rare to find a PT that is able to understand dance terminology, what types of movements are required in class and be able to incorporate those aspects into your care. As a former dancer, Jenna is able to better prepare you for the functional movements that you need to be a successful dancer, gymnast or figure skater. Not only can On Pointe help you with current injuries, but can also prepare cross training and educational programs to help dancers prevent injuries long before they ever happen. Each patient is different, but sometimes only 1 or 2 visits are needed for assistance with technique correction and exercise programing.

READY TO GET STARTED?

Most new patients begin with a discovery call so we can hear your story, how your life has been impacted, and discuss your next best steps. Your PT will tell you straight if we can help, then review pricing and package options to best fit your situation. There's no pressure to commit after the call!

Just fill out this form and our patient care coordinator will contact you within 24 hours to schedule your call.
